This policy explains when a payment made to VedaCode™ is eligible for a refund. It applies alongside our Terms of Service.
1. The blueprint is non-refundable once generated
Your ₹999 (or $19) blueprint report is generated immediately upon successful payment — our AI narration layer runs as soon as your payment is confirmed, and you receive a completed, personalised product within minutes. Because the work is performed and delivered at the moment of payment, the report fee is non-refundable once your blueprint has been generated, in line with how digital, on-demand content is treated under Indian consumer protection rules.
2. When a refund IS available
- Failed generation — if payment is captured but your report fails to generate (a technical error, a stalled report job, or your report never reaches "completed" status) and our team cannot resolve it, you are entitled to a full refund of that payment.
- Duplicate charges — if you are charged more than once for the same report or the same subscription cycle due to a payment gateway or platform error, we will refund the duplicate charge(s) in full.
3. VedaCode Plus — cancellation and pro-rata
VedaCode Plus is a recurring subscription (monthly or annual). You may cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation stops future renewals but does not itself trigger a refund for time already used, except as follows:
- Monthly plan — cancelling mid-cycle gives you continued access until the end of the paid month; no partial refund is issued for the unused remainder.
- Annual plan — if you cancel within the first 30 days of an annual subscription, you may request a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the year, calculated from the date of cancellation. Cancellations after the first 30 days are not eligible for a pro-rata refund but remain active until the paid period ends.
- First month free — if your Plus subscription began with a free trial month bundled with a report purchase, no subscription charge occurs until the trial ends; cancelling before the trial ends means you are never charged for Plus.
4. The 30-day trial
Where VedaCode Plus is offered with a 30-day free trial, your payment method is only charged once the trial period ends, unless you cancel beforehand from Settings. You can cancel a trial at any point during the 30 days at no cost.
5. How to request a refund
Email [[support@vedacode.example]] with your registered email address, the order or payment ID (visible on your receipt), and the reason for your request. We aim to acknowledge every refund request within 48 hours and to resolve eligible refunds within 7–10 business days, credited back to your original payment method via our payment processor.
6. Non-refundable items
Beyond a generated blueprint, the following are not eligible for a refund: any Plus billing period that has already been consumed beyond the pro-rata window above, and any correction-request review fee (there is none currently charged, but this may change with notice).
